From November 20th to 24th, 2023, Osijek hosted the 15th Croatian Culinary Days.
Culinary students showcased their knowledge and perfected their techniques in culinary and pastry categories, while waiters demonstrated their expertise in their respective disciplines.
This was the first time that the festival included waiter disciplines in the service category. Students from Rovinj excelled as the best, winning the category of pairing dishes and wines, while students from Split took home the award for the best baristas, which went to Pula.
In addition to the cooking competition, free workshops, masterclasses, presentations, and tastings were held for all culinary enthusiasts.
The 'Croatian Culinary Days' once again hosted nearly 150 chefs and pastry chefs. The importance of educating all participants through workshops and competitions is highlighted by each event, as well as the involvement of experienced international judges in evaluating the creations.
We contributed by presenting our virtual reality educational environment that allows users to explore various hospitality skills such as cooking, coffee brewing, and wine pouring.
