In collaboration with the Hospitality and Tourism School Split (TUŠS), our company has made a significant stride in modernizing the education program in the field of tourism and hospitality by integrating VR technology. Evolving and modernizing consistently over decades, TUŠS has effectively embraced a digital approach to education, transforming traditional lessons into VR formats to enhance the learning process.
By combining years of educational experience with innovative digital solutions, we've played a pivotal role in reshaping the hospitality education landscape. Through VR technology, students have altered their approach in exploring new possibilities, documenting their experiences, and collaborating with mentors.
This step forward underscores our company's commitment to enhancing education through innovation, opening new horizons for future generations in the tourism and hospitality industry. Our partnership with TUŠS demonstrates dedication to creating advanced educational environments that foster interactivity, creativity, and facilitate practical application of knowledge.
Interactive Learning
Learning through VR interactive digital lessons and environments that teach practical skills is beneficial for both students and teachers. These dynamic and interactive teaching methods encourage active participation, enabling a deeper understanding of lessons and facilitating better lesson retention.
VR Modern Skills
Beyond traditional lesson content, our platform provides educational environments created in virtual reality. VR experiences enable students to acquire practical skills—from proper food preparation techniques and drink pouring to table setting. This enhances their knowledge and skills through the use of modern technologies. Contemporary VR technology not only enriches learning but also empowers students for the workforce by providing invaluable experiences crucial for their professional development.
What Does VR Offer?
Our application offers future chefs and waiters the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a choice of 5 virtual exercises: wine pouring, steak preparation, table setting, coffee making, and flambé. Students have the chance to independently tackle exercises, except for the one guiding them through table setting.
These interactive exercises provide a realistic experience that allows repetition in order to master skills required in daily work. Given the importance of practical experience for students, our environments allow them to safely develop skills without the material cost and risk of errors that are present in a real environment.
Moreover, the exercises are designed to encourage student independence, empowering them to adopt key skills at their own pace, with necessary support and guidance where needed.
