About project

Future chefs and waiters can gain practical training through a selection of 5 virtual exercises provided by the application. All exercises are solved independently, except for the one that teaches you how to properly set the table, where an instructor assigns the menu and courses. Our VR application allows you to learn, practice, and improve your skills while providing helpful feedback in the form of statistics and tips for improvement after each exercise.

WINE POURING.

Explore a VR setting dedicated to wine pouring! Through interactive lessons, you will learn the significance of selecting glasses for red, white, and sparkling wines. In this restaurant/bar environment, there are 8 types of glasses and 8 different wine bottles available. The objective of this exercise is to carefully pour each wine into its designated glass, ensuring it reaches the optimal level within the provided time frame.

STEAK PREPARATION.

Another lesson teaches you how to prepare a steak in a realistic commercial kitchen. Experience the preparation process, learn about temperature, cooking time, and achieve the ideal texture and flavor in an ideal cut.

TABLE SETTING.

Set up a table for one person in a restaurant or bar setting. Upon receiving a menu from the instructor, the student arranges the utensils for each course, gaining familiarity with the correct placement of plates, silverware, glasses, and napkins.

COFFEE PREPARATION.

Make the perfect coffee with the necessary equipment and coffee-making tools. You will learn the coffee-to-water ratios for various types of coffee, including espresso, macchiato, latte, and cappuccino.

FLAMBÉ.

In order to learn how to properly flambé, try this exercise of flambéing fruits in a commercial grade kitchen. Be careful to prevent burning the fruits or causing a fire through careless flambéing; this action stops the task.
